2014 ASCE Conference

Shane Binder of the Seattle Section is the winner of the Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award for Professional Achievement. The Edmund Friedman Award recognizes younger members of ASCE who have advanced the profession; exhibited technical competence, high character and integrity; developed improved member attitudes toward the profession; and contributed to public service outside their professional careers. Congratulations to Shane for this high honor!

Shane Binder has also been named Engineering News-Record (ENR) Northwest's 2014 list of Top Young Professionals. The annual list celebrates the excellence of young engineering professionals who have an impact on their industry or their company. The professionals recognized on this year's list exhibit qualities such as leadership, career progress, community involvement, and involvement in landmark projects for their region.
